'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League comeback

Kane achieves his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his enthusiasm in coming back to the Premier League has diminished and he is prepared to negotiate a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently two years through the four-year agreement he inked when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.

The experienced forward has netted an impressive 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the maiden major honor of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England skipper has now clarified that he is no longer as keen about returning home as he previously was, and would certainly think about prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
